Poe-ma ethic

The POE-MA Ethic Line (“P.E.L”) system is open to all employees as well as external and temporary staff (interns, temporary workers, consultants, etc.) of the POE-MA Group who have signed up to an ethical alert procedure.

As an employee or external and occasional collaborator of the POE-MA Group, you can issue an alert to your line manager or the head of Human Resources in your entity or sector to report facts that may constitute:

A crime or offense;

A threat or serious harm to the public interest;

A serious and obvious violation of the law, a regulation, or an international commitment;

Conduct or a situation contrary to the POE-MA Group’s Code of Conduct for the Prevention of Corruption or Notice on Conflicts of Interest.

For example, incidents relating to the following may be reported:

  • Discrimination and psychological harassment at work
  • Sexual harassment
  • Accounting, financial, and audit malpractice
  • Internal and external fraud (theft, deception, or breach of trust with a view to obtaining an undue or illegal advantage)
  • Fictitious employment of staff
  • Violations of fundamental human rights
  • Malfunctions relating to the processing of personal data
  • Intrusion, access to protected dat
  • Health, hygiene, and safety at work
  • Protection of the environment and populations
  • Corruption, influence peddling
  • Conflicts of interest
  • Anti-competitive practices

If you are unable or unwilling to contact your line manager or the Human Resources department of your entity, you can use the P.E.L. system to submit a confidential alert. This system guarantees the strict confidentiality of the identity of the person submitting the alert and the persons concerned, as well as the information collected.

As the purpose of the ethics alert system is to enable sincere, reliable, and responsible communication, the POE-MA Group prohibits any form of retaliation or threat of retaliation against employees who use it. In return, employees must use the system in good faith and without malicious intent.
