The POE-MA Ethic Line (“P.E.L”) system is available to all employees as well as external and occasional collaborators (interns, temporary staff, consultants, etc.) of the Poe-ma Insurances Group who adhere to the ethical alert procedure.
As an employee or external/occasional collaborator of the Poe-ma Insurances Group, you may report a concern to your line manager or to the Human Resources manager of your entity or department if you witness facts that may constitute:
• A crime or an offense
• A threat or serious harm to the public interest
• A serious and manifest violation of the law, a regulation, or an international commitment
• Conduct or a situation contrary to the Group’s Anti-Corruption Code of Conduct or to the Conflicts of Interest Notice
Examples of reportable matters include:
• Discrimination and moral harassment in the workplace
• Sexual harassment
• Accounting, financial, or audit-related irregularities
• Internal or external fraud (theft, deception, or breach of trust to obtain an undue or unlawful advantage)
• Fictitious employment
• Violations of fundamental human rights
• Personal data processing breaches
• Intrusion or unauthorized access to protected data
• Health, hygiene, and safety issues in the workplace
• Environmental or public protection issues
• Corruption or influence peddling
• Conflicts of interest
• Anti-competitive practices
If you cannot or do not wish to report the matter to your line manager or the Human Resources department of your entity, you may use the P.E.L system to submit a confidential alert.
This system ensures strict confidentiality of the whistleblower’s identity, the identity of the persons concerned, and all information collected.
As the purpose of the ethical alert system is to enable sincere, reliable, and responsible communication, the Poe-ma Insurances Group strictly prohibits any form of retaliation or threat of retaliation against individuals using it. In return, collaborators must use the system in good faith and without intent to cause harm.
This ethical alert system is therefore an essential tool for safeguarding integrity, transparency, and accountability within the Poe-ma Insurances Group, enabling everyone to contribute confidently to upholding our values and commitments.
